General Description: The ability for near instant communication and downloading of information over the Internet has caused its recent exponential growth as a significant information technology (IT) tool. However, the Internet's growth over the past several years has generated numerous new issues of law and led to the creative application of conventional legal principles in new contexts at a furious pace. The objective of this course is to acquaint the student with the Internet and the traditional and novel legal issues arising from its growth.
