JD Admissions

From our traditional full-time, three-year program to our Flex-JD, which enables you to earn your degree in as few as four years, Scalia Law offers maximum flexibility and the academic excellence of a Top-35 school.

Why Scalia Law?

We are living in a climate of strong opinion and polarized points of view. At Scalia Law, we believe that the best lawyers for these times are those who have learned to analyze, discuss, and advocate all sides of an issue. That’s why we strive to create a student experience that exposes you to viewpoints all along the legal and political spectrum—while encouraging you to join the debate, and to do it in a civilized and respectful manner.

Scalia Law At a Glance

We are a small law school, with a student body of only about 600. Our student/faculty ratio of 4:1 is the lowest of any law school in the United States. This provides you with direct and personalized interaction with professors— an invaluable advantage when learning complex legal doctrines. Although still a relatively young law school, Scalia Law has risen very quickly in several prestigious rankings. We have been a Top 50 school for the past 20 consecutive years, ranked 32nd in the most recent US News rankings.

As a Washington, D.C.–centered school, we offer you unparalleled opportunities for practical experience while you’re in law school. We have established relationships with major national and international law firms, leaders in Congress, federal and state court judges, and a multitude of public-service organizations. Our convenient location in Arlington, Virginia is just five stops away from Washington’s K Street law firms and government agencies. Arlington itself is home to several growing headquarters that hire lawyers, including Nestle, Boeing, Raytheon, Amazon, Capital One, as well as the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
