The Alumni Challenge

Who Gives?

While our alumni are diverse in profession, age and background, they are united behind a shared educational experience and alma mater. Read why graduates from all walks of life have made giving to Mason Law a priority.

Larry Dunham (’77)

Larry Dunham ’77“Over the years I have been pleased to follow the progress of the law school and to see it prosper and grow to become one of the finest law schools in the country.

"My life has been enriched immeasurably by my law school experience. The solid training that I received in the principles of law has served me well in both legal and non-legal positions. The good friendships that I made during my law school days have flourished and continue to this day, and my legal background has enabled me to pursue numerous opportunities that would have been precluded otherwise. By contributing to the law school, in particular to its scholarship funds, I hope to make it possible for others to achieve a similar experience.

"By contributing to the law school, I also seek to honor the spirit of its founders and of its earliest alumni and to recognize their dedication and commitment to building this institution and paving the way for subsequent graduates."

Karen Hickey (’03)

“On the most basic level, I give simply because I tremendously enjoyed attending Mason Law. Perhaps more importantly, however, I credit the school with providing an excellent legal education, grounded in practical legal skills and elevated by intellectual discussion and debate. Mason Law prepared me well for practice, and I want to help ensure its continued success by contributing to the school.”
