Fundamental Skills Classes for New Law Students


George Mason School of Law will be offering a series of optional fundamental law school skills classes for first year students during the course of the Fall semester. The law school is also offering a series of optional fundamental skills classes focusing on Economics. There is an additional session on creating outlines and studying for exam to be held Wednesday, September 28. Click here for details.

Following is a schedule of the available classes. First-year law students are encouraged to attend any or all of these skills classes. Attendance is entirely optional.

Law School Basics

Sunday, August 21
10 a.m.
to 12 p.m , class repeated from  3 p.m. to 5 p.m. , in Room 120 

Class Preparation

Saturday August 27
12  p.m.
to 3 p.m. in Room 120; 

Exam Preparation I

Saturday, October 29
12 p.m.
to 1:30 p.m.   in Room 120

Exam Preparation II

Saturday, November 5
12-1:30 in Room 120.

Economics Classes

All Classes on Saturdays:

September 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 121

October 29 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 121

November 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 121.

There is no need to RSVP for these sessions. Students are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
