Public Service Job Fair
Washington DC/Baltimore Public Service Career Fair
The Washington DC/Baltimore Public Service Career Fair is an annual job fair jointly hosted by American University, Washington College of Law; Catholic University, Columbus School of Law; the Federal Bar Association; George Mason University School of Law; University of Baltimore School of Law; University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law; and University of Maryland School of Law. Federal, state, and local government employers as well as public interest organizations participate. Employers conduct individual interviews and/or participate in table talk sessions on the day of the Career Fair, and students may also submit their resumes to employers participating in Resume Collection through the Career Fair. The fair takes place the last Friday in January at George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.
Employer Information
There is no fee to participate in this fair. By registering through our online registration system, you can participate in this one-day event, which includes both structured interviews and more informal table talk sessions. If you are unable to be present, resumes can be collected on your behalf and sent to you after the event for your consideration. Student Information
Information about participating in the job fair is distributed to Mason students through the student listserv each fall.
Format: Employers will hold individual interviews, conduct table talk sessions, and/or collect resumes. The list of participating employers and how they will participate will be available on the Career Fair website: https://law-dcpscf-csm.symplicity.com/students. All student applications for interviews or resume collection (including application materials), determination of selection for interviews, and sign-ups for interview times will also be processed through this website.
Important Deadlines:
November: Student Registration Begins at https://law-dcpscf-csm.symplicity.com/students.
December-Early January: Student may begin to “bid” on interviewing employers and submit resumes for resume collection employers.
Late January: Interview selections posted to the website; students log in to see if they received any interviews and if so, select an interview time slot.
