Fellowship Opportunities

Each year, the Career, Academic and Alumni Services office receives applications for dozens of fellowships. The fellowship applications are generally due in the fall (although some fellowship applications are not due until the spring).

Fellowships offer varying benefits, including one or more of the following: (1) providing summer stipends to law students, (2) supplementing income for law school graduates, or (3) providing full compensation, including benefits and loan repayment, to law graduates. Recipients must generally have a demonstrated interest in and commitment to working in public interest law for at least one year following graduation in order to qualify for the fellowship.

Fellowship opportunities are located in the binders in the CAAS office, are posted in the Job Bank on law-gmu-csm.symplicity.com/students, and announcements are made on the listservs.
