This page is the employment page for the Office of Career Management for the Federal Government. This site contains employment information for all of the departments, and many of the independent agencies within the government.  The best way to find jobs is to search by department or agency.  Many of the homepages for the departments and agencies have links to this page, and many rely on it solely to display their employment information.

This page contains job vacancies for many of the departments and agencies, and is split up by summer, State, Atlantic, and Pacific openings.

This site allows you to register your resume, and matches your resume with job openings within the government departments and agencies. This site also allows searches by department.

www.CareersInGovernment.com

This site allows you to search by job category, employer and location, as well as the most recent vacancy listings.  It also provides general information about many government jobs.

www.federaljobs.net

A well-organized site that provides tips for applying for Federal jobs, interviews, resumes, and describes all government jobs, in addition to the available ones.

At the homepage, click on resources.  There, scroll down to the ‘Opportunities‘ heading.  Once in "Opportunities" click on "Federal Jobs" link, and follow interests and instructions to find employment information. 

Defense

Scroll down to the "DoD Sites of " menu, and select Civilian Job Opportunities.  This will lead to the web pages for all of the branches of the military. 

Air Forcewww.af.mil

At the homepage, click on the "Careers" icon on the far right of the top menu.  Once at the next page, follow interests and instructions to find employment information.

Armywww.army.mil

In the menu on the right-hand side of the page, under the "Quick Links" click the "Recruiting" link.  That will lead to www.goarmy.com, the Army’s job page.  There, click on "Jobs" and follow interests and instructions to find employment information.

Navywww.navy.mil

In the menu on the left-hand side of the page, click on "Navy Careers."  This will link to www.navyjobs.com.   From this page, click on the "I am a: " link, and then a drop down menu appears. Select "Professionals", and then the "Navy Law Careers" link.  There, follow interests and instructions to find employment information.

In the menu on the left-hand side of the page, click on "ED Jobs" under the About ED heading. Follow the "Inside ED Jobs" links to learn more about available job opening.

At the homepage, click on "Career Opportunities."  There, follow the instructions to find employment information.

At the homepage, click on "Opportunities," where information about working in the Department of Health and Human Resources can be read.  From there, click on "Employment" to find available jobs, and opportunities in the department.

At the homepage, click on "HUD Jobs" on the left-hand side of the page.  Follow interests and instructions to find employment information.

At the homepage, click on the "Employment Information" link at the bottom of the page, on the left-hand side.  This page contains links to information about the Department of Interior, Employment Benefits, and current job listings.

At the homepage, click on the "Employment" link on the left-hand side of the page. There, follow interests and instructions to find employment information. The site gives information on general and summer jobs, as well as describing current vacancies.

Click on the "Job Opportunities" link on the right-hand side of the page.   There, jobs, locations and salaries are listed.

At the homepage, click on "Employment" on the right-hand side of the page.  Positions and application instructions are listed on the page.  Most of the jobs listed are international positions.

On the left-hand side of the homepage, click on "Jobs & Education."  This link will provide information and instructions for employment at DOT.

At the homepage, click on "Site Index" on the left-hand side, then click on the "Employment Opportunities" link.  This page describes the different types of jobs the FCC offers, and provides links to particular job vacancies.

Click on "Who We Are & How We Can Serve You" icon at the top of the page.  Click on the "Job Opportunities" link.  The following page directs you to the OPM site, but it does contain quality information concerning the FTC positions, and deadlines for application. It also contains a few links to current job vacancies.

At the homepage, click on "Employment Opportunities."  On the left-hand side of the page, there are Summer Law Clerk and Summer Intern links.

National Aeronautics and Space Administrationwww.nasa.gov

Scroll down the page to the bottom, and on the left-hand side click on "Job Opportunities."  The page lists types of jobs as well as application information.

National Labor Relations Boardwww.nlrb.gov

In the home page main menu, click on "Job Opportunities."  Several jobs are described, in addition to vacancy announcements. The link to vacancies will direct you to www.usajobs.opm.gov/a9nlrb.htm.

National Science Foundationwww.nsf.gov

At the homepage, click on "Jobs." The page allows you to view the types of positions and the number of vacancies at those positions.

Peace Corpswww.peacecorps.gov

At the homepage, click on "Employment Opportunities" under the "About Peace Corps" heading at the bottom of the page. The page describes jobs, announces vacancy, and describes the application process.

Securities and Exchange Commissionwww.sec.gov

At the homepage, click on the "Employment" link at the bottom of the page.  The page describes all jobs available within the commission, and has a link for jobs specific to law students.
