The Green Bag at George Mason School of Law

The Green Bag, Second Series, was founded in
1997 by George Mason Associate Professor of Law
Ross Davies and two of his law school classmates,
David Gossett of Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw and Montgomery
Kosma of Jones Day. The journal's advisory and editorial
boards also include representatives of several other leading
law schools (Boalt Hall, Chicago, Columbia, Emory, Harvard,
Michigan, NYU, Rutgers, Vanderbilt, Virginia, William & Mary,
and Yale) and law firms (Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and
Clifford Chance).
The Green Bag develops and publishes about 100
pages of short, useful, readable, and occasionally entertaining
legal scholarship once every three months for an audience
consisting mostly of professors, judges and other public
officials, and private practitioners. Each issue features
an ecumenical mix of short essays, scholarly articles,
book reviews, poetry, and odds and ends that strike the
editors' fancy. If you have written something that fits
that description, please send it to editors@greenbag.org.
The Green Bag is now published in cooperation with
the George Mason University School of Law.
