Second Annual Symposium on Hot Topics in Patent Law
On July 15, 2003, George Mason School of Law hosted its Second Annual Symposium on"Hot Topics In Patent Law," co-sponsored by the intellectual property law firm of Banner & Witcoff. The speakers at this day-long event included four federal judges, as well as James Rogan, the Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Over seventy people attended from law firms and corporations across the mid-atlantic region. Below are photographs from the event, presented together with a list of speakers. Bradley
C. Wright (on the right) served as Symposium
Coordinator for the Second Annual Hot Topics in Patent
Law. Wright was also the day's first speaker, presenting
the Mid-Year Developments in Patent Law.
He graduated from the George Mason University School
of Law in 1994.
The
Honorable James Rogan (pictured
on the left), Undersecretary of Commerce for Intellectual
Property and Director, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Rogan delivered the lunch address during the symposium.
