Biographical Sketch

Visiting Assistant Professor of Law Alyse Graham teaches criminal procedure and criminal law.  Before coming to George Mason, she was a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia and before that in the Fraud Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.  Professor Graham graduated from Yale University with a double major in history and theater studies and received a law degree from Stanford Law School.  She was a law clerk to the Honorable Gilbert Merritt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  Following her clerkship and before moving to the Justice Department, Professor Graham was an associate with the law firm of Davis, Polk & Wardwell in New York where she practiced primarily white-collar criminal defense.
