In July 2005, the Law School building was named Hazel Hall after John T. Hazel, Jr., a prominent attorney and real estate developer who led the effort to help Mason acquire a law school in 1979. The building, which originally opened in 1999, spans four floors and includes classroom, library, and administrative space, as well as two levels of interior parking, and a cafeteria. Several student offices, the Campus Bookstore and a Parking Office are located across the parking lot in the Original Building. The CIP Program and the George Mason Law Review are located in the Truland Building next door.
