The George Mason Law Alumni Class Giving Competition was created as an annual program to increase alumni participation in annual giving to Mason Law and provide an opportunity for alumni to earn some "bragging rights" and publicity. Competition categories included the class with the highest participation rate, highest number of donors, greatest increase in participation, and most dollars donated to the law school. 

Highest class participation rate—Class of 1983 (24.0 percent)

Most alumni donors—Class of 1980 (51 donors)

Greatest increase in class participation rate—Class of 2011 (8.7 percent increase)

Most dollars donated to the School of Law—Class of 1994 (over $87,000)
