The Law Firm Challenge is underway at the George Mason University School of Law.

Meeting the Challenge is an opportunity for your firm to earn publicity and recognition, and provide a good-natured “bragging rights” competition for your firm’s Mason Law alumni, while increasing the law school’s participation rate and fostering a culture of philanthropy for law alums. 

The Law Firm Challenge runs through June 30, 2012. Alumni at firms that achieve 100% participation will be recognized in a full-page advertisement in Virginia Lawyers Weekly in fall 2012, and will be invited to a reception with Dean Polsby in fall 2012. Special recognition will be awarded at the reception to the firm or firms whose alumni:

• meet 100% participation with the most Mason Law alumni;


• donate the highest total amount; and


• donate the highest amount donated per graduate (minimum of three Mason Law alumni at a firm).

How can you help your firm meet the Challenge and reach 100% participation? Showing your support for Mason Law through the Law Firm Challenge couldn’t be easier.

1. Find your firm name in the list of participating law firms on this page.
2. Click on the Firm Contacts link to find out who your firm contact is and touch base with that person to get started.

Visit Mason Law’s online giving page and make a donation, making sure to note your law firm affiliation in the Comments field.

What if my firm is not participating in the Law Firm Challenge?  Just contact the law school’s development office to get involved. The development office will contact you to confirm your listing on the Law Firm Challenge web pages, and will help you get your firm to 100%.
