Winter 2003 Program Overview:
At the Winter 2003 symposium, practitioners, enforcers, and academics will join together to debate and consider the proper role of theory in the future of antitrust enforcement. The day's discussion will be divided into three panels:
- Twenty Years of Raising Rivals Costs: Is there support for enforcement?
- Coordinated Interaction: Is there a need for more rigor?
- Industrial Organization and Antitrust Enforcement: Will modern IO move out of the classroom and into the courthouse?
The Honorable Timothy J. Muris, FTC Chairman will deliver the keynote address on the future of IO. Registration includes breakfast and lunch, and abstracts from all the papers presented.
This year's symposium is dedicated to the memory of Professor Wesley J. Liebeler.
