"Managing Antitrust Issues in a Global Marketplace"

September 13, 2006
8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Antitrust has moved onto a truly global stage, where major mergers and antitrust litigation take place in a multi-jurisdictional setting. The sold-out symposium focused on the implications for multinational firms of operating in this new and challenging environment. In this context, our symposium featured panel discussions examining dominant firms, cartels, and mergers. We also hosted a roundtable discussion featuring top antitrust officials from the United States, Europe, and Japan. The symposium took place on September 13, 2006. This year's symposium was held at the J.W. Marriott in Washington, DC.

Assistant Attorney General Thomas O. Barnett's Luncheon Address made headlines in national media outlets.
