Overview

In order to use the audio system, you must set-up the wireless podium microphone. The micophone is locked in the front compartment of the black lectern. If you do not have the key to the lectern, please contact Carlos Sandoval, (703-993-8261, csandov1@gmu.edu) or Deborah Keene (703-993-8110; dkeene@gmu.edu).

Instructions

  1. To control the microphone audio levels:
    Touch the "Audio" button, then touch the "Microphones" button.  
  2. The Podium microphone:
    The podium microphone  
  3. To turn the microphone on: Turn the microphone over and hold down the button for about 3 seconds. There is a slight delay of 2-3 seconds after letting go of the button before the microphone turns on. The green light at the base of the microphone indicates that the microphone is on.

    To turn the microphone off: Turn the microphone over and hold down the button for about 3 seconds until the green light goes off. The switch on the bottom of the podium microphone  
  4. To control the speaker volume:
    Touch the "Speakers" button.
