Laptop
- Activate the touch screen console, if you haven't done so already. (Touch the screen. If it prompts you for a PIN, enter the PIN. Call 3-8226 if you don't know the PIN. If it doesn't prompt you for a PIN, the system is already activated.)

- Plug in the laptop's power cord to the power outlet next to the touchscreen.
- Plug in the the VGA cable to the laptop.
- If necessary, activate VGA presentation mode. You may need to type Fn + F8, for example. The keyboard combination depends on the model of laptop.
- Plug in the network cable to the laptop
- Plug in the audio cable to the laptop (optional).
- Touch the "Laptop" button on the left side of the console. The screen at the front of the classroom will automatically lower (if it isn't already down).

- Optional: Open drawer and remove the clicker/pointer if you want to navigate through PowerPoint slide shows from anywhere in the room. Refer to the clicker/pointer tutorial for more information.
- To adjust the volume, use the volume control buttons to the right of the touchscreen.
- Turn things off when you're done.
- Unplug all of the cables to the laptop.
- Remove the USB receiver of the clicker/pointer and insert it in the back of the clicker/pointer (if applicable).
- To turn off the whole system at the end of a class, click the "End" button on the touchscreen.
- Lock the drawer (if it is unlocked).
