Law School Expands Wireless Network
The School of Law has recently expanded its wireless network to include the 6 large classrooms on Floors 1-3. The wireless network allows students, faculty, and staff members to use their laptop to check e-mail and surf the Web without connecting to a wired, Ethernet port. The system is built on IEEE 802.11b (Wi-Fi) industry standards and has the capacity to be upgraded to the 802.11g standard. In order to use the wireless network, you need a wireless card that is either 802.11b or 802.11g compatible and a GMU MEMO email account.
