Dean Daniel Polsby Comments on Westin's Decision to Make Its Hotels Smoke-Free

Westin recently announced they will make all of their hotels smoke-free in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. On the Marketplace radio show, reporter Stacey Vanek-Smith talked to Law School Dean Daniel Polsby about this decision.  When asked, Polsby responded that "[s]mokers do impose some costs.  A lot of people don't like to be in hotel rooms that have been used by smokers.  If they limit themselves to nonsmokers, they will have lower overhead and their nonsmoking guests will be happier."
