The 2006 Richard S. Murphy Lecture to be Held on March 8

The Dean and faculty of George Mason University School of Law and the family of former professor of law Richard S. Murphy are pleased to invite students, alumni, staff, and adjunct faculty of George Mason University to The 2006 Richard S. Murphy Lecture on Wednesday, March 8 at 4:30 pm in Room 120 at the School of Law.

This year's presentation will be a debate entitled "Civil Liberties and the War on Terror." Mason law graduate Robert A. Levy of The Cato Institute and Paul S. Rosenzweig from the Department of Homeland Security will debate, and Professor Ronald Rotunda will moderate. The debate will begin at 4:30, followed by the announcement of this year's Murphy prize recipient and a cocktail reception with our guests and the Murphy family in the Atrium.
