2006 George Mason Student Summer Fellowship Application Deadline is April 21

George Mason Student Summer Fellowship Application Due April 21

The George Mason Student Summer Fellowship Application is for students working in unpaid summer public service positions who want to apply for summer stipends from one of three sources:

(1) the APIL auction;

(2) the Virginia Law Foundation, which provides a grant to George Mason and other Virginia law schools for students working in unpaid summer public interest positions in the state of Virginia; or

(3) the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia State Bar, which has awarded a grant to Virginia law schools for students working in criminal justice.

Fellowships will be awarded based on need and the criteria indicated in the application. APIL and the Fellowship Board reserve the right to give fellowships in any amount. Students who will work part time are eligible to apply for an APIL fellowship; however, the Fellowship Board will award the fellowship in an amount based upon that part-time status and other sources of funding.

Completed applications must be returned to the Career Development & Alumni Services Office by Friday, April 21, 2006.

Questions should be addressed to APIL President Natalie Noel (nnoel@gmu.edu) or Dean Huber in CDAS (vhuber@gmu.edu).
