Professor Krauss Comments on Judicial Ethics in Nevada Controversy

A three-part Los Angeles Times series in on potential conflict of interest on the parts of nine Nevada judges has raised questions about the ethical conduct of the judges named and about the reaction of Nevada officials to the information.

Commenting in the Las Vegas Sun, Professor Michael Krauss, cited as a law professor with expertise in legal ethics, stated "The conflicts in many of the cases were blatant...If the L.A. Times articles are accurate, these individual judges should be disciplined. In most states, the discipline would be removal from office."
