Catholic's Dean Miles to Kick Off Wilder Seminar Series

On Monday, February 19, at 5:00 p.m., the Mason Black Law Students Association (BLSA) will host a lecture by Dean Veryl Miles of The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law. Dean Miles will deliver the inaugural lecture in the L. Douglas Wilder Seminar Series, established by BLSA to highlight the accomplishments of African-American attorneys.
Dean Miles will speak about her pathway to success as a black attorney, female practitioner, law professor, and law school dean.
As a professor at Mason Law, Dean Miles helped found the school's BLSA chapter in 1986 and served as the group's first faculty adviser.
