APIL Food Drive Delivers on Its Promise

Mason Law's Association for Public Interest Law (APIL) concluded its successful food drive on Friday, November 21, delivering over 300 pounds of food to the Arlington Food Assistance Center to help local families during the 2008 holiday season.

APIL President Alison Lima offered her congratulations to the 2L class, which edged out the competing classes on the last day of the drive to bring in the largest amount of food donations.

APIL is a member of Equal Justice Works (formerly the National Association for Public Interest Law), founded by law students in 1986 to provide equal justice to millions of poor and disadvantaged Americans. The goal of APIL is to encourage students to make a commitment to pro bono work or a career in public interest law and to help remove economic barriers that confront future public interest lawyers.
