Katzen-Dyk Testifies Before House Small Business Committee

Professor Sally Katzen-Dyk testified on Capitol Hill in a full committee hearing entitled "Improving the Paperwork Reduction Act for Small Businesses" before the House Small Business Committee on February 28, 2008, at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, DC.

The purpose of the hearing was to examine the Federal paperwork burden on small firms and how Congress can act to reduce it by improving the Paperwork Reduction Act.

Katzen-Dyk, a frequent witness in Congressional hearings, is no stranger to Capitol Hill. From 1993-1998, she served as the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management and Budget (the senior adviser to the President on regulatory matters). Her government service includes roles as Deputy Director of the National Economic Council in the White House (1998-1999) and her return to OMB in 1999-2001 as the Deputy Director for Management.
