George Mason Law School's Civil Rights Law Journal will hold its annual symposium on the topic of "Election Law" on Thursday, October 23 at the conference facilities of Jones Day.
The Journal invites all members of the law school community to come and listen to panels of renowned experts in the field of Election Law discuss and debate the current legal issues in the election realm. The event will consist of panels on three topics (Federalism and Election Law, Campaign Finance, and Voting Rights) with 3 to 5 speakers on each panel. Among the panelists are Mason Professors Allison Hayward and David Schleicher, as well as many noted election law scholars from both the public and private sector. The panels will be followed by a keynote address given by Congressman Tom Davis, and a reception with food and beverage on the outdoor terrace overlooking the U.S. Capitol.
