Law and Economics Alumni Reception at the US Capitol

On July 9th over 60 alumni and friends attended the Capitol Hill Alumni Group reception held in the historic Mike Mansfield Room, located just outside the Senate Chambers in the U.S. Capitol. Among the attendees were Paul Reagan ('91), Chief of Staff to Sen. Jim Webb, who graciously assisted in securing Mason's access to the Capitol. Dean Daniel Polsby and David Landers ('93), who helped spearhead the event, welcomed the group.

The Capitol Hill Alumni Group brings together Mason Law alumni, students, faculty and friends with a shared interest in Capitol Hill. The group includes over 380 distinguished alumni of the Law School. Additionally, the law school extended invitations to graduates of George Mason’s graduate programs in Economics to take advantage of the synergy and their shared interests with Mason Law. Included in this prestigious group of alumni are current and former Hill staffers, administration officials, and others involved in governmental affairs and lobbying.
