Final Round 2008 Upper Class Moot Court Competition, November 21

The Moot Court Board cordially invites the law school community to attend the Final Round of the 2008 Upper Class Moot Court Competition on Friday, November 21, 2008, in the Ceremonial Courtroom on the 6th Floor of the E. Barrett Prettyman United States Courthouse, located at 333 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C.  Oral arguments will begin precisely at 5:00 p.m.

Congratulations to the final two teams who will argue the LRWA III-Appellate Writing problem in the Final Round: 
the team of Nicole Pahel and Amir Katz, and the team of Rosanne Rust and Adam Aft.

The final two teams will present their arguments before a panel composed of The Honorable Brett M. Kavanaugh, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit; The Honorable Anthony J. Trenga, U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia; and The Honorable Jonathan Thacher, Fairfax Circuit Court.

A reception will follow in the Judges' Dining Room. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at least fifteen minutes early to allow time to pass through security at the courthouse.
