A Day in the Life: Bankruptcy Lawyers, September 23
All students are invited to attend a panel discussion on A Day in the Life: Bankruptcy Lawyers. Bankruptcy is a growing and busy area of law, so find out the real deal on what it takes to be in this field. The program will be held on Wednesday, September 23, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm in Room 120. Attorneys who work in a variety of settings including the judiciary, federal government, small firm, and large firm will share their perspectives. Panelists will describe their career paths, the type of work they do on a daily basis, the types of clients they represent, and how students can best prepare for a career in bankrupty law.
The panel will be moderated by Craig Young ('82) from LeClair Ryan, who is an Adjunct Faculty member at Mason Law, and will include the following speakers:
- The Honorable Richard Fehling, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, E. D. PA
- Rebecca Saitta ('03), Wiley Rein LLP
- Madeline Trainor, Cyron & Miller
- Frank Bove, U.S. Department of Justice, Office of the U.S. Trustee
