The Seventh Annual American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS) Convention program features Professor Allison Hayward as a panelist in a discussion hosted by the organization's Democracy and Voting Issue Group and entitled "Universal Voter Registration."

The event, held in Washington, D.C., June 18–20, is billed as an opportunity for convention-goers to engage leading legal policy makers and thinkers in a variety of debates and discussions concerning critical legal and public policy issues and contribute to development of a progressive vision of the Constitution, law, and public policy.Theme of the convention is "Keeping Faith with the Constitution," also the title of a new book being published by the ACS.

The ACS's stated mission is to promote the vitality of the U.S. Constitution and the fundamental values it expresses: individual rights and liberties, genuine equality, access to justice, democracy and the rule of law.
