Lund Moderates SCOTUScast Debate

Professor Nelson Lund moderated a November 9 discussion between Institute for Justice Senior Attorney Clark Neily and Loyola Law School Professor Kurt Lash in which they debated the case McDonald v. City of Chicago in a Pre-Argument SCOTUScast.

The case is one in which the Supreme Court recently granted certiorari on the question of whether the Due Process Clause or the Privileges or Immunities Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment makes the Second Amendment applicable to the states and invalidates Chicago's ordinance prohibiting the possession of handguns in one's residence.
