Rabkin Speaks at Heritage Foundation Event
Professor Jeremy Rabkin was a participant in a Heritage Foundation discussion on "The Implications of the G-20 Summit for the Political Sovereignty and Economic Freedom of the United States" held in Washington, D.C., on March 30.
Panelist Rabkin was joined by J.D. Foster, Senior Fellow in the Economics of Fiscal Policy for the Heritage Foundation, and Desmond Lachman, Resident Fellow of the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, for a discussion of the fate of America's sovereignty and economic freedom in light of the European Union's call for a "charter of sustainable economic activity" that "would subject all financial market activities around the globe to regulation." The panelists offered their perspectives on what the summit should and should not seek to achieve.
The Heritage Foundation is a public policy research institute with a stated mission to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.
