Somin Discusses Expansion of National Service Programs
Professor Ilya Somin took part in a Hudson Institute event in which he appeared as a panelist in a discussion of recent movements to expand government support for national service programs.
The Hudson Institute's Bradley Center for Philanthropy and Civic Renewal hosted the discussion, held in Washington, D.C., on February 9. In addition to Somin, the panel included Shirley Sagawa of the consulting firm sagawa/jospin, Bruce Reed of the Democratic Leadership Council, and Leslie Lenkowsky of Indiana University. The Bradley Center's William Schambra moderated the discussion.
Video and audio recordings will be posted online when available, and a transcript of the discussion will be available online approximately a week after the event.
