Choosing a Practice Area Presentation on August 30

Students are invited to attend a presentation on choice of practice area on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. in Room 120, Hazel Hall.

Job satisfaction can depend upon a lawyer's choice of practice area.  Every practice area is different-and it is crucial that the area chosen fits with an individual's personality and preferences. 

Sarah Van Steenburg, Managing Director at Major, Lindsey & Africa, will present an overview of some of the top 50 practice areas and discuss the "Ten Questions" you should ask yourself before choosing a practice area.
