Krauss Appointed to Advisory Committee to U.S. Commission on Civil Rights

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has announced the appointment of Professor Michael Krauss and 17 other Maryland citizens to its Maryland State Advisory Committee.

Congress directed the Commission to form committees in all 50 states and the District of Columbia to study issues within the Commission's jurisdiction and to produce reports on majority views of the committee members, who serve for two years without compensation.

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is an independent, bipartisan agency that monitors federal civil rights enforcement.
