Newman Speaks on Patent Infringement

Professor Christopher Newman was invited to be guest speaker at the Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, on April 22 as part of its Center for Intellectual Property Law Spring Colloquium Series.

Newman spoke on the topic "Infringement as Nuisance."

Newman left practice with Irell & Manella LLP in Los Angeles at the beginning of 2007 to serve an Olin/Searle Fellowship in Law at the UCLA School of Law, where he focused on his research and writing in the areas of property theory and intellectual property. From January 2008 until his arrival at Mason Law, he served as a research fellow of UCLA's Intellectual Property Project. He teaches in the area of Intellectual Property Law.
