Wright Takes Active Role in ABA Antitrust Spring Meeting
Professor Joshua Wright was session chair and moderator for the Antitrust and Consumer Protection Fundamentals presentation at the American Bar Association's 58th Antitrust Spring Meeting, held April 21 to 23 in Washington, DC.
Appearing at the National Press Club on the opening day of the conference, Wright headed a group of speakers that included Erika Brown Lee, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Federal Trade Commission; John R. Read, U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division; and John E. Villafranco, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.
The meeting's focus was on current antitrust and consumer protection issues and included leading faculty from business, government, and academic sectors. The Fundamentals session in which Wright participated is a popular annual event that introduces the principles of antitrust law to newcomers and serves as a refresher course for seasoned practitioners.
