Open House for Admitted Applicants March 5
Please join us on March 5 for the first of two open houses for admitted applicants designed to give an inside look at the law school experience at Mason Law.
Assisted by faculty, alumni, current law students, and the admissions staff, Dean Daniel Polsby will host a series of events that include tours of the law school and surrounding Arlington, student and alumni panel discussion, career development presentation, moot court demonstration, and the opportunity to participate in a mock class with faculty speaker Professor Helen Alvaré. The day will culminate in the Dean's Reception in which admitted applicants will have the opportunity to mingle and converse with the event participants on an unstructured basis.
An informal program of optional events begins at noon on Saturday, March 5, and continues until 2 p.m. The formal program will begin at 2 p.m., followed by the Dean's Reception from 5:30 until 7 p.m. The event begins and ends in the Levy Atrium in Hazel Hall on the Arlington Campus, 3301 Fairfax Drive, Arlington. The law school is easy to reach via Metro's Orange Line, Virginia Square/GMU station.
To attend the event, admitted applicants should contact the admissions office to RSVP, furnishing the names of any guests attending, as well.
A second open house event will be held on Saturday, April 9. For details on both events, as well as hotel information and a compilation of other events occurring in the Washington area in the spring timeframe, please visit our New Student Information page.
