The George Mason University School of Law will hold its annual Convocation on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. on the Fairfax Campus in Concert Hall. The Law School’s Convocation is a special ceremony for law graduates only. It is separate from George Mason University’s General Commencement ceremony that is held the same day at 10:00 a.m. at the Patriot Center in Fairfax. Graduates may attend both ceremonies. No tickets are required for the School of Law Convocation; however the suggested number is 6-8 guests. Students who anticipate more guests should email email@example.com. The law school’s ceremony will be followed by a reception with light refreshments.
On the evening before graduation, Friday, May 20, 2011, the Student Bar Association will host a special reception for graduates, their family members, guests, and faculty, staff and administrators from the School of Law. This event will be held at the law school in the Levy Atrium from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Graduating students should RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 2 and include the total number of persons who will be attending.
