Chorvat Speaks at Tulane Tax Roundtable
Professor Terrence Chorvat was a featured speaker at the February 22 Tulane Tax Roundtable, where he gave a presentation, entitled The Failure of the Facebook IPO and a Justification for Debt-Equity Tax Distinction, based on a paper he is writing. The roundtable is co-sponsored by Tulane’s Murphy Institute and Tulane University Law School.
Discussant for Chorvat’s presentation was Steven Sheffrin, professor of economics and director of the Murphy Institute.
The Tulane Tax Roundtable is designed to bring together tax scholars from across the country, resident Tulane faculty, and Tulane students for discussion and debate about important tax policy issues. The event showcases the drafts and works-in-progress of its participants and subjects them to analysis in a workshop format.
