Mason Law Conference on Intellectual Property
On behalf of the Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property (CPIP) at George Mason University School of Law, I would like to invite you to a conference on intellectual property law, "From Lab to Market: How Intellectual Property Secures the Benefits of R&D," on March 21, 2014. The conference will be held in the Founders Hall auditorium, and registration for students is free. Speakers and attendees will include attorneys from government and private practice, along with thought leaders in intellectual property policy and business executives from the innovation industries.
The keynote speaker will be The Hon. Randall R. Rader, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The conference is co-hosted with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation.
Please join us to discover the essential role that intellectual property plays in converting the research conducted at universities and labs throughout the country into valuable technology and products, and the legal and policy decisions that affect that process. Through the conference panels, our goal is to encourage a timely and thoughtful discussion of the intellectual property framework that allows us to harness the value of our country's unparalleled R&D.
