Somin on Bond v. United States
In an article in United States Law Week, Professor Ilya Somin commented on the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling in Bond v. United States. Even though the Supreme Court avoided the constitutional question regarding the scope of the treaty power, the case suggests “all nine justices have at least some qualms about the notion that there are no structural limits to the scope of that power,” Somin said.
