American Bar Association/Law Student Division

The American Bar Association is the largest private association of attorneys in the world. The ABA Law Student Division provides law students with the opportunity to influence the direction of the policy and initiatives that will be set forth in the international legal community. Student membership in the ABA provides each student with an individualized approach to the legal field. Students will receive throughout the year magazines, newsletters, and email updates on current legal issues as well as developments in particular practice areas that the students select according to their individual interests. Students also have the opportunity to attend meetings and conferences concentrating on those specific practice areas giving rise to unique networking opportunities. Additionally, the leadership opportunities available locally, regionally, and nationally provide almost limitless opportunities to engage with practicing attorneys.
