Submissions

JICL is always interested in publishing thoughtful articles on topics concerning International Commercial Law. In fact, our very existence depends on the work of authors who are willing to submit quality pieces for publication.

Our Editorial Board reviews all submissions that conform with the submission requirements. We review submissions on a rolling basis with an eye towards accuracy, creativity, sourcing, grammar and style. There is no "best" time to submit an article for publication. Unlike other journals, JICL is not constrained by space limitations or the cost of publication.  As such, quality articles are always welcome and are published as soon as they can be properly reviewed and edited.

We will notify authors of the decision by email. We normally do not inform authors of the status of their manuscripts other than through email. As a matter of policy, we do not discuss the reasons for our publication decisions.

Submissions must be submitted using our electronic submission form.  Please note that JICL does not accept hard copy manuscripts.
