About the Student Bar Association
The Student Bar Association exists for the purpose of supporting and encouraging academic excellence and professional growth among students; to ensure the attainment and preservation of the rights of the individual law student to acquire a high quality legal education; and to serve as the vehicle for interaction and communication between law students and the faculty, staff, senior bar, School of Law alumni community, and the rest of George Mason University.
In accomplishment of this mission, the Student Bar Association serves as the school of Law's principal student governance organization and provides resources to support the nearly forty student organizations at the School of Law. The Student Bar Association sponsors a wide variety of student, faculty, and alumni events, and serves as the principal liaison between the student body and administrators, faculty and staff.
