The American Civil Liberties Union of the George Mason University School of Law ("ACLU-GMU") provides a forum for students who are interested in practicing civil rights law and sponsors speaking events that discuss some of the cutting edge areas of civil rights law. A goal of ACLU-GMU is educating the law school community about civil rights issues and engaging in projects that work to advance knowledge in the field of civil rights. ACLU-GMU also hosts a variety of social activities for its members.
