2020 Winter

(January 6– January 15, 2020)

The law school offers a Winter Term in conjunction with the Spring 2020 Semester. Credits earned over Winter Term are considered part of the Spring 2020 semester and Winter Term tuition will be billed at the same time Spring 2020 tuition is billed. Registration for Winter Term opens at the same time as Spring 2020 registration. Students must include the credits in which they intend to enroll during Winter Term in their Spring 2020 semester course load calculations. Reminder: part-time students may be enrolled in a maximum of 12 credits for the Winter Term/Spring Semester combined, and full-time students may be enrolled in a maximum of 17 credits.

All first-year students are required to complete the LRWA II programming. The programming is a required introductory session for LRWA II and not a separate Winter Term course option. First year day students may elect to register for an optional Winter Term course that does not conflict with LRWA II. First year evening students already have a required course load of 12 credits for Spring 2020, but may enroll in optional Winter Term courses in their 2E through 4E years.

For planning purposes, students should expect to complete 20-30 hours of work outside class for each Winter Term course. There will be assigned reading prior to the first class for all courses. Please consult the course syllabi , once posted, for this and the other course requirements. All courses will be graded CR/NC (except as noted below) and will be considered in-class credits under Academic Regulation 3-3.1.
