Paige Butler has 17 years of experience in development and project leadership. She most recently oversaw these efforts for the Mason Law & Economics Center, which during the 2014-2015 academic year brought together 2,610 participants to learn about the academic discipline of law and economics. Program participants included scholars from top law schools; international, federal, and state judges; sitting state attorneys general and their staff; US Congressional members and staff; and policymakers from federal, state, and local levels of government.
During her tenure as Associate Director from 2010-2015, the Mason Law & Economics Center grew to include six divisions with an annual budget of $8.5 million.
Prior to joining Mason, Paige held positions at Northwestern University School of Law, The Brookings Institution, Chapman University, and the University of Kansas. In addition, she practiced law for ten years as corporate counsel to a large financial institution and served as their AVP of Business Development. She holds a JD from the University of Kansas as well as BS degrees in Accounting and Business Management.
