Rao a Panelist at ACS Annual Convention

Professor Neomi Rao was a participant in a panel discussion of "Executive Powers and National Security" at the American Constitution Society (ACS) 10th Annual Convention held in Washington, D.C., June 16-18. Attorney General Eric Holder was keynote speaker for the convention, the theme of which was "Constitution at the Crossroads: Progress Imperiled?"

Joining Rao on the panel were Martin S. Lederman, Professor of Law, Georgetown University Law Center; Eric Lichtblau, Justice Department Correspondent, The New York Times; Elisa Massimino, President and CEO, Human Rights First; and Peter M. Shane, Professor of Law, Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

The ACS convention brings together over 1000 of the nation's lawyers, judges, law students, policymakers, scholars, and activists in an effort to learn, debate, and strategize on critical lissues that contribute to the development of a progressive vision of the Constitution, law, and public policy.
