Rao Organizes Panel for International Law Weekend

Professor Neomi Rao organized and participated in a panel for the annual International Law Weekend presented by the American Branch of the International Law Association and the International Law Students Association in New York, in conjunction with the 90th annual meeting of the American Branch.

The three-day conference, held October 20-22 and entitled "International Law and National Politics," examined the intersection of international rules and norms and domestic politics and policymaking, with expert panels and discussion sessions considering the issues with regard to areas as human rights and humanitarian intervention, national security, immigration, trade, labor, health care and the environment.

Rao's panel included Mason Law colleague Professor Nathan Sales and dealt with legal interpretation in the Executive Branch.
